The POCtix promise.

Nine things we publicly commit to. Some of these are commitments competitors won't make. We're putting them in writing so you don't have to take our word for it later — you can point at this page.

Last updated May 25, 2026 · This page is canonical and we'll update it (with the date) if anything changes.

1

$2.00 flat per ticket, locked through at least December 31, 2027.

No percentage tier upsells. No "we're raising prices next month" emails. If we ever need to change pricing, you'll get 90 days written notice and the right to lock in your existing rate for any events already on sale.

Verify: this page is dated. Bookmark it. Cite it if we ever try to walk it back.

2

We will never email, sell, or market to your buyer list.

Every buyer who purchases through your event is your customer, period. We don't add them to a POCtix marketing list. We don't sell or share the data with any third party. We don't cross-sell other venues' events to them.

Verify: read our privacy policy. The lack of "we may use your data for marketing purposes" language is intentional.

3

No buyer service fees without your explicit opt-in.

The price you list is the price your buyer pays. Period. You can optionally choose to pass our $2.00 fee to the buyer at checkout — that's your call. We will never silently add a fee on top of your ticket price without you actively turning it on.

Verify: run the calculator with passthrough off. The buyer total equals your listed price.

4

Your data is yours, CSV-exportable anytime — including after you leave.

Buyer emails, order history, scan logs, refund records: all exportable as CSV from your admin dashboard at any time. If you decide to leave POCtix, you take everything with you. We won't lock you in by holding your data hostage.

Verify: log into /admin/orders.csv after your first sale and download.

5

No contracts, no minimums, no cancellation fees.

Run one event with us or run a thousand. Stop anytime by emailing us — no exit fee, no "you owe us the rest of the year." You commit to nothing beyond the events you actively choose to sell on POCtix.

Verify: read our terms of service. The absence of a minimum-commitment or early-termination clause is deliberate.

6

First event free for new venues — we waive the $2.00 fee on your first 100 tickets sold.

Apply, set up your first event, run it on POCtix. We refund our platform fee on the first 100 tickets you sell. Stripe's processing fees still apply (that's not our money). If after one event POCtix isn't the right fit, you've lost nothing.

Verify: mention "first event free" in your application message at /for-venues. We'll confirm in writing before you create your first event.

7

Free migration help from any other platform.

Switching from Eventbrite, DICE, Square, TicketLeap, or Brown Paper Tickets? Email us your existing event export and we'll set up your POCtix account, recreate your active events, and walk through buyer-list migration with you. No charge.

Verify: email [email protected] with "migration help" in the subject. Response within 4 hours during HST business hours.

8

4-hour response time on operator questions during HST business hours.

Mon-Fri, 9 AM to 6 PM HST: any operator question (sales, support, technical) gets a response within 4 hours. Outside those hours and on weekends, we aim for next-business-day. Emergency event-day issues (broken scanner, can't process refund) get escalated immediately whenever they happen — text the same email address and we'll respond within an hour.

Verify: [email protected]. Test it with any question.

9

If POCtix vanishes tomorrow, your money is still in your Stripe account.

We use Stripe Connect destination charges. Buyer money lands in your Stripe account directly — we never have custody. If we go out of business, your past sales remain in your Stripe, your pending payouts continue on Stripe's schedule, and you can switch to any other platform without losing a cent.

Verify: read /how-it-works section 1, then check your Stripe dashboard after your first sale.

What we won't ever do.

Some commitments are easier to state as the negative space — the things competitors do that we won't.

Honest pricing. A flat $2.00 per ticket — that's all POCtix takes, whether the ticket is $5 or $500. You pay the same standard card processing (2.9% + $0.30) you'd pay on any platform, and the money lands straight in your own Stripe account. No percentage cut, no buyer-facing service fee — so on a typical event ticket your all-in cost lands well below Eventbrite, and the savings grow the higher your ticket price.
